Welcome to BVB IA Washington Eastside Mini BEEs and Little BEEs, our introductory soccer programs for children ages 3 to 6. Through imaginative games, movement, and time with the ball, we help young players build confidence, make connections, and discover the joy of soccer.

Led by BVBIA-trained coaches and volunteers, each session offers a welcoming, encouraging environment where children can explore, try new things, and learn at their own pace. Our goal is to create a positive first soccer experience that helps inspire a lifelong love of being active.

Big Imaginations. Little Players.

For young children, play is how learning happens. Fun themes, such as superheroes, pirates, and animals, turn soccer activities into adventures that encourage children to move, solve problems, and use their imaginations.

Coaches use simple instructions, demonstrations, and playful repetition to keep activities age-appropriate and engaging. As children grow in confidence, we introduce new challenges and opportunities to make their own decisions.

What Your Child Will Practice

• Movement and coordination: Running, stopping, jumping, balancing, and changing direction.

• Soccer foundations: Exploring the ball, dribbling, turning, shooting, and developing passing and receiving skills.

• Confidence and independence: Trying something new, making choices, and learning through mistakes with encouragement.

• Social skills and teamwork: Taking turns, sharing space, making friends, and joining group activities.

• Listening and communication: Following simple directions, responding to coaches, and expressing ideas.

• Creativity and problem-solving: Discovering different ways to move and play through imaginative challenges.

  
  

Growing at Their Own Pace

Every child develops differently. Some arrive ready to jump into every activity; others need time to feel comfortable. Our coaches support each child with warmth, patience, and achievable challenges, helping them feel safe, included, and part of the Black and Yellow family.

Small Steps Worth Celebrating

We celebrate the moments that matter: a child trying a new skill, joining a group game, connecting with a teammate, or running onto the field with a little more confidence.
